National Plastics has a blast at the FIT Show

The National Plastics stand team arrived bright and early on Monday morning to begin setting up the fantastic National Plastics FIT Show stand.
The modular system was a bit of a jigsaw, but come early afternoon – and after a few worried moments – it was nearly complete and looking great!
The design work for the stand began months earlier and the plan was simple: we wanted to show visitors how well We Know the Trade by taking them on a journey from 1988, through our history to the present day, and into the future with a sneak peek where we’re going.
Visitors also had the chance to become part of our future there and then, by entering the We Want Better competition to win £5,000 worth of products.
Over the course of the three days thousands of visitors came to the show, there was rarely a quiet moment! It was great to meet up with existing customers and get to know new customers by showing them the great products we have to offer.
While we did have to man our stand, we did take opportunities to wander around ourselves and check out all the fantastic things on offer, keeping an eye out for anything that could become part of the National Plastics range.
However, with three halls packed with stands, you really needed a full day (if not more) to see everything.
On Wednesday evening FIT Show hosted its black tie Gala Dinner – a 1920’s Gatsby themed dinner and awards show.
The evening kicked off with a champagne reception, while cabaret singers, stilt walkers and cocktail glass performers entertained the guests. We moved on into the function room and took our seats, ready for the main event. Entertainment during our three courses consisted of aerial silk performers, aerial ring performers, fire eaters, Charleston dancers and cabaret singers – it really was a fantastic evening.
Needless to say, most of us got to bed slightly later than planned and Thursday was a bit of a struggle, but we survived and enjoyed every minute!
