Is this the ‘Ultimate’ uPVC sash window?

Leading sash window fabricator Roseview Windows have made a bold statement and named their latest product the ‘Ultimate Rose’, claiming it’s the most authentic uPVC sash window on the market today.
The Ultimate Rose is fully mechanically jointed and has the slimmest sightlines of any sash window. It is manufactured using the industry-leading Rehau profile and has a deep bottom rail, glass line astragal bar designs and is fitted with premium quality hardware to give it the same aesthetics as a traditional timber box sash window. The stand out feature is Roseview’s in-house developed run-through sash horn. Unlike many of the run-through horns on the market today this has a flush end cap, which gives a much closer match to the look of a timber original than a prominent wrap-around cap.
Roseview already manufacture two premium uPVC sash windows – the Heritage Rose and the Charisma Rose – but decided to enhance their product range and offer something specifically for the most sensitive conservation areas and high-end consumers living in traditional properties.
Managing director Willie Kerr explains: “We’ve really gone to town on the Ultimate Rose and made it as authentic as we possibly can. The product is essentially an enhanced version of the Heritage Rose, previously our best sash window, but with fully mechanical joints, a run-through sash horn and premium hardware as standard. Quite a few of our trade customers now sell into conservation areas and we introduced this window so they can compete toe-to-toe with timber companies. The window looks identical to timber but has none of the maintenance issues, such as rotting, peeling or rattling. As an added bonus the window is ‘A’ rated as standard, meaning our trade customers can promote the fact that it will reduce energy bills and protect the environment.”
Roseview are currently in the process of designing marketing literature to support the Ultimate Rose and will soon be launching an online sash window builder, enabling consumers to create their own Ultimate Rose, Heritage Rose and Charisma Rose windows.
