Roseview’s first Fensterbau a resounding success

There’s not much sash window specialists Roseview haven’t done in forty years at the top of UK fenestration – but until 2018, they’d never been to Fensterbau.
Back in March, that all changed. The fast-growing firm made its Fensterbau debut, joining some of the biggest names in UK glass and glazing on the UK Pavillion, hosted and organised by the GGF.
The company’s world-leading uPVC sash window products went down a storm in Nuremberg, as Sales Director Richard Burrells explains:
“In Europe, glazing is often very contemporary-looking and minimalistic - and that means we’ve previously doubted whether there would be a market for traditional, quintessentially British products like ours.
“But what we’ve discovered in recent years is that there’s a huge amount of interest in quality, authentic heritage windows – and at Fensterbau, that really hit home.
“We were given a fantastic reception - and weren’t just getting interest from manufacturers and installers from Europe, but businesses from all over the world.”
The company showcased a range of products from its much-celebrated Rose Collection of uPVC sash windows, but, unsurprisingly, its flagship Ultimate Rose proved to be the biggest draw.
First introduced in 2013, its slim timber-like profiles, meeting rail, and period features as painstakingly detailed as full mechanical joints, run-through-sash horns and traditional sash furniture immediately marked it out as special. Now the product has been upgraded with both a slimmer rail, just 35mm overall, and Secured by Design accreditation.
“We loved exhibiting at Fensterbau, and now we’ve been the once, we’ve got no doubt we’ll be showcasing again in future,” Richard concludes.
