Bi-fold specialist sees record growth

A specialist bi-fold door manufacturer and supplier has ended 2014 on a high, and has a full order book going into 2015.
TWR Bifolds – which is part of the TWR Group- launched as a dedicated bi-fold business in 2014 and has experienced phenomenal growth over the past 12 months, despite a recent report stating a fall in demand for bi-folds.
The Palmer Market Research domestic glazing report revealed that this market fell by 7% over the past year, but Terry Richardson, Managing Director of TWR Bi-folds, says the company’s bi-fold division has seen month on month growth in sales of bi-folding doors, with no signs of this slowing down going into the New Year.
Terry comments: “Although demand has decreased in the domestic market according to reports, bi-folds are still going strong and we are seeing rising demand here. Opportunities for commercial installations are also increasing as this sector gears back up for growth following a stagnant few years in recession. We’re feeling confident approaching 2015 and anticipate further growth, across both the commercial and domestic sectors.”
TWR bi-folds launched to the industry with a brand new website that incorporated an innovative bi-fold builder and quote tool that allows installers to receive fast, free and accurate quotes for aluminium bi-fold doors.
Although primarily an aluminium bi-fold and colour specialist, TWR bi-folds also supply aluminium vertical sliding sash windows; aluminium wide-span patio doors and other aluminium products.
Terry says they also support other alumimium fabricators that may specialise in bi-folding doors but want to buy-in other aluminium windows and door products, from an experienced supplier.
The company also offers comprehensive installation and technical support to installers, and can even assist on-site for first time orders, helping installers unfamiliar with this product take advantage of the opportunities in the bi-fold market.
