Coloured products and fast lead times drive revenue increase at TWR Bifolds

Specialist bifold door fabricator TWR Bifolds has seen sales of its aluminium products grow 20% over the past twelve months, with coloured products largely contributing to this growth.
Sales of colour and dual colour aluminium windows and doors have increased substantially in the last twelve months alongside the company’s core products, pushing up revenues and profits across the business.
Directors say that the company’s super-fast lead times on aluminium has also helped to boost sales.
The growth highlights the continuing trend of property owners selecting coloured products, and the lucrative opportunities this is providing installers in the domestic and commercial markets.
Managing Director of TWR Bifolds, Terry Richardson comments: “TWR’s growth over the past year has been sparked by the recent rise in commercial projects within the educational sector, where establishments use coloured aluminium products.
“It also reflects changing consumer tastes in the domestic market and installers are taking full advantage of these opportunities with our dedicated colour service and super-fast lead times.”
Investment in an in-house colour spraying facility means TWR Bifolds can supply a range of coloured aluminium bifolds on a six day lead time.
Installers can now also buy aluminium vertical sliders and wide span patio doors in any RAL colour.
TWR supplies installers across the UK but is also keen to partner with single product aluminium fabricators to increase their product offering without them having to invest in additional resources and manufacturing facilities.
TWR Bifolds also continuously researches the latest industry trends to help its customers remain competitive and give them the resources they need to successfully enter profitable emerging markets.
A recent poll from TWR revealed white and grey as the most popular dual-colour combination and TWR now have this colour on stock ready to manufacture and supply when needed.
