Early demand for new products at TWR

The TWR Group has seen strong early demand for the latest addition to its product range, just weeks after it was rolled out to the industry.
The TWR Group – which contains the TWR bi-folds brand - has partnered with systems company REHAU to manufacture its Calibre and Total 70 range of PVCu windows and doors.
TWR made significant investments in tooling and machinery, ready to manufacture; and is already seeing demand for this product rise week on week.
Managing Director Terry Richardson says the move was prompted by increasing demand across the UK for premium PVC-u products.
He comments: “The industry is rapidly changing and we like to keep on top of trends and listen to feedback from our customers, to introduce new products that will give them an edge over the competition.
“PVC-u is a high-demand product for us and we’re delighted to be able to expand our offering with REHAU.”
He also says that Calibre is considered as a trade window and is proving particularly popular amongst its installer customer base.
The TWR Group started fabricating aluminium and PVC-u windows and doors fourteen years ago, with the aim to supply high-quality products to installers across the UK.
The firm manufacture and supply bi-folds and commercial aluminium from its 25,000 sq. ft Peterlee factory, with REHAU Calibre and Total 70 being produced at its long-standing headquarters in Sunderland; where it also manufactures Stratus Roofs and Warmcore.
The roll-out of several new products last year – including Stratus Roofs and Warmcore – contributed to a strong 2016 for TWR, which also saw the opening of a brand-new factory, new senior sales appointments and the launch of its fast-track service, which allows installers to achieve a three-working day turnaround on coloured aluminium bi-folding doors.
Already this year the group have made a high-profile senior appointment – adding former Smarts sales manager Jason Loftus – who is now Area Sales Manager at the company.
Terry anticipates 2017 to be another successful year, saying: “With the roll-out of REHAU and ambitious growth plans for the future, I am confident we will see sales increase again this year. We encourage installers looking for a reliable supplier of aluminium and PVCu to get in touch to find out how we can help them grow in 2017.”
