New website will showcase manufacturers expanding product range

An experienced aluminium and PVC-u manufacturer has launched a brand-new group website. The TWR Group has rolled out its new website www.twrgroup.co.uk/ to showcase its full range of products.
Part of the group is TWR bifolds, which is a successful stand-alone brand that showcases its aluminium bi-folding doors division and has been the group’s main online shop window. But in the last year, the firm has diversified into other product areas, prompting the build of the new website.
Amongst the new products the group began manufacturing in 2016 were the REHAU Calibre and Total 70 PVC-u systems, Warmcore and Stratus aluminium lantern roofs.
The family run business has been trading for fifteen years and in 2016 opened a second factory in Peterlee – which is 25,000 sq ft – in addition to its headquarters in Sunderland.
Terry Richardson, Managing Director of TWR, comments: “In 2014 we launched the TWR Bifolds website and it has proved a great success. But with lots of new products being launched we were keen to shift the focus onto these; so, we have decided to re-launch a new group website.”
Glazing and construction industry marketing specialists Purplex UK built the website using a responsive design. This delivers a better user experience when searching for information, whether the site is accessed on a mobile phone, tablet or desktop computer.
Visitors to the site can find information on the features and benefits of TWR’s complete range of aluminium and PVC-u products, get a quick quote, and find out more about the TWR team.
There is also a regularly updated news section, which includes expert advice from Terry’s popular Bifold Doctor articles.
Terry says: “We wanted a website that reflected the TWR brand and made it easy for our customers and installers to find and order quality aluminium and PVCu products. The new website achieves this and is the perfect platform to promote our new products to the trade.”
