TWR Bifolds launches new premium product

Bi-fold door specialist TWR Bifolds is delighted to announce that is has added an innovative new aluminium system to its product range.
The company will now be manufacturing Synseal’s WarmCore system. WarmCore is an innovative aluminium folding sliding door system, which incorporates a radically different product design approach to deliver a new high performance glazing solution.
Managing Director Terry Richardson says the decision to expand its range further will allow TWR to continue offering its installers the latest, cutting edge products.
He comments: ‘We are always looking to add products to our portfolio that are truly innovative and high-performance, so installers have the very best windows and doors to take to market. WarmCore ticks both these boxes and is a high-quality aluminium solution that offers peerless thermal performance.’
WarmCore features a 70mm front to back frame with a multi-chambered PVCu core, clad in aluminium. It also boasts a thermal core which significantly out-performs the polyamide thermal breaks commonly used to reduce the threat of a cold bridging on aluminium windows and doors.
The deal struck with Synseal to start supplying Warmcore coincides with the announcement by TWR bi-folds that it will be opening a new factory.
TWR will be exclusively manufacturing bi-fold doors at its new factory in Peterlee, County Durham and it is set to be one of the biggest dedicated bi-folding door manufacturing plants when it opens in the summer.
At the beginning of 2016 TWR bi-folds also launched its premium fast-track service, which allows installers to achieve a three working day turnaround on aluminium bi-folding doors.
The new launch means that Terry Richardson and his team are able to offer RAL coloured aluminium bi-folds, on a three day lead time; subject to an order form being completed by the installer and a deposit paid.
It is being dubbed the fastest bi-fold turnaround the industry has seen and TWR Bifolds are the only suppliers in the industry to offer the service.
For its new premium service TWR Bifolds can offer a three day lead time on any standard RAL colour and a six day lead time on any standard RAL dual-colour bi-folding door
