“Without Gary Almeda wouldn’t exist; it wouldn’t have purpose and integrity. That is his legacy and I am excited about keeping it going. It’s now time to take Almeda to the next level and become the number one choice in the South West for Facilities Management Support.”
Gary will now step back from the day to day management of the business but continue to work in an advisory role.
Brady officially took over the role of Managing Director at the company’s annual dinner that took place recently at Bordeaux Quay on Bristol’s Harbourside recently.
At the dinner Gary said: “Working in a family business can be difficult at times, but ultimately it is a rewarding experience and Brady has played his part in driving Almeda forward.”
He concluded by saying: “He isn’t assuming this role because he is my son, but because he has the leadership qualities, curiosity and passion that will ensure Almeda continues to grow and stay a force for good. It’s a truly amazing achievement to be Managing Director of a major business like this at the age 29 and Brady has earned this opportunity and is well able to take over the responsibility.”
