Almeda, a Bristol-based facilities management firm, has appointed four new members of staff as it gears up for a ‘ground-breaking’ 2016.
Tom Wailes and Mark Lloyd have both been appointed as Facilities Managers. Tom previously worked as a Contract Manager for CBRE and Mark worked at Mitie.
In their new roles, Tom and Mark will be responsible for the management of services and processes that support Almeda’s clients across a diverse range of sectors, that include manufacturing.
On his new role at Almeda, Tom comments: “After working for a big national I wanted to thrive in a company that didn’t have the rigid and strict processes of a corporate and I was drawn to Almeda because they foster a progressive culture in the workplace and value collaboration.”
Mark comments: “I admire Almeda’s approach to customer service and how they strive to exceed expectations. It’s rewarding to work in an environment like this and forge a career. Almeda is known for being great to their staff and customers, and only settling for world-class.”
Alongside the new Facilities Managers, Almeda has also appointed Caroline Twose as Support Services Manager; and Louise Coles as Executive Assistant.
Louise will be working directly with Managing Director Brady George and the Senior Management Team in a supporting role, assisting them in growing and developing the business and brand further.
She joins Almeda from Bristol 2015, the organisation that initiated and delivered Bristol’s year as European Green Capital.
Louise is passionate about environmental responsibility and is looking forward to drawing upon her previous experience to help shape the future of Almeda.
She comments: “Almeda is a family business who cares deeply about their customers and staff, and they are also committed to the wider environment and sustainability in property and construction. Their passion and determination are evident as soon as you walk through the door.”
Caroline comments: “It is a very exciting time for Almeda as they are growing and winning major new customer’s month on month. I want to grow within the company and help Almeda achieve its long-term vision.”
Brady George, MD at Almeda, comments: “Our new team members will play a crucial role in driving Almeda forward, particularly as we launch new services and expand into new markets in 2016 and beyond.”
