Lower prices and faster lead times on Bifolds at Astraseal

After a sensational 2016, Wellingborough fabricator Astraseal is bringing in the New Year with a bang, not only reducing lead times on their Smarts Visofold aluminium bifold doors but reducing the price too.
The sleek and stylish door products are now available from Astraseal for £497 per leaf glazed with A Rated units. What’s more, thanks to a new aluminium factory which has increased capacity by five times, they now come with two-week lead times when ordered in white or grey.
“The reason we’ve been able to provide such a great deal, with such short lead times, is due to the economies of scale we can achieve with our new, dedicated aluminium factory,” commented Astraseal’s Sales and Marketing Manager, Zac Nedimovic.
“Setting up a 25,000 square-foot aluminium was obviously a huge investment, and required massive amounts of time and effort to get up and running. But now it’s fantastic – complete with a brand new 600mm Saw it’s boosted our aluminium capacity by five times, and we’re now able to buy aluminium profile in much higher quantities, meaning better prices for our trade customers.”
A lower price doesn’t mean a reduction in quality, the Visofold bifold meets Astraseal’s high demands for a consistent, reliable and durable performance. Only the highest-quality aluminium is used when making the bifold and that same standard is placed on the door’s hardware, specifying bespoke, first-class hardware that can provide years of reliable service.
“As standard, our bifold utilises Smarts’ brand new DV176 integrated Cill threshold, a fully weather sealed, low threshold, which can provide the seamless transition inside to outside that everyone strives for,” adds Zac. “Also, as standard, our bifold features a new, ACDV525 locking flush shootbolt handle and the new ACDV532 bottom roller with steel pin for dead loading.”
“Whilst these parts are more expensive for us to source, we wanted our bifold door offering to stand out, by way of quality, from other versions available,” concludes Zac. “Budget foreign parts, although inexpensive to replace, have the propensity to fail, which costs our clients time, money and reputation in what is a very competitive market.”
