Experienced industry names add clout to Caldwell

Hardware specialist Caldwell UK has made several key appointments as it rolls out its ambitious growth plans for the year ahead.
Alistair Wheeler and Steve Muryani join the Caldwell sales team as National Sales Managers. Both Alistair and Steve have vast experience in the industry. Alistair previously worked at Siegenia and Steve at GU Hardware.
Caldwell’s strategy has also seen two senior members of the team step into new roles. Alan Hartley, who has been at the company for over ten years’, takes on a new role as Strategic Accounts Manager and Luz Seminario becomes Export Sales Manager.
Leigh Bosley will continue is his role of Sales Executive as the business looks to scale up its UK operations.

The latest round of appointments at Caldwell follow a successful year of trading for the business.
This year, the hardware manufacturer launched a record seven new products. These include the heavy duty Ultra Stay hinge, a complete decorative hardware range for vertical sliding sash windows, two new sash balances – Ultra-Lift and Torso II – and he FoldUp window, a never before seen product in the UK.
The company has seen a 5 per cent increase in turnover on last year and has outlined ambitious growth plans for 2017, which will see them expand into new markets.
One of these is the home automation market. Caldwell has invested a significant amount of money in research and design of automated hardware and is leading the UK market when it comes to automated products.
The company recently launched two new automated systems, Omni Drive and Ingenuity and displayed prototypes of these at the FIT Show, where they were well received by customers and manufacturers.
David Walker comments: “Automated hardware is a growing market we know will be lucrative for our customers. This is currently our focus as the UK leader in this field, but we’re always looking to the next big thing in hardware to develop products that really benefit our customers.”
