Cheshire based fabricator Dekko Window Systems have announced they are now offering their popular Residence 9 (R9) window system in two new authentic timber colours, furthering the appeal of this high-end product. Dekko’s Residence 9 window is now available in Golden Oak and Rosewood, joining their existing range of 12 heritage colours and 35 mixed combinations.
Sales director Kurt Greatrex comments: “Residence 9 is designed to replicate the aesthetics of a 19th century flush timber window - and Golden Oak and Rosewood are perfect additions to the colour range. Our most popular R9 colour so far is white, which mimics the traditional painted timber window look, but we can offer other subtle shades such as Clotted Cream and Cotswold Biscuit. Consumer tastes are becoming more adventurous, particularly at the higher end of the market, and coloured windows and doors are gaining in popularity. The R9 colour swatch is designed to satisfy this demand and to give our trade customers the ability to offer greater choice and ultimately win more business.”
Designed by Eclectic Systems, R9 is a luxury 9 chambered system that combines authentic timber aesthetics with modern high performance. The system has been approved by conservation areas throughout the UK and can achieve a U-Value of 0.8, meeting requirements for Passivhaus.
R9 windows manufactured by Dekko have mechanically jointed sash and outerframe as standard and incorporate an astragal bar that has the same depth as the bead, giving a more authentic look. Dekko are one of the UK’s largest R9 fabricators and the company also offers Deceuninck and Kommerling windows and doors.
