A Betterview with Dempsey Dyer

Essex based home improvement specialists Betterview Windows are the latest company to start selling the Beaumont range of ‘timber look’ windows and doors from leading trade fabricator Dempsey Dyer.
Betterview already buy-in Dempsey Dyer’s full range of Deceuninck PVC-u and timber windows and doors, having ceased fabrication themselves in 2011, and recently added the Beaumont to give their customers a cost effective alternative to timber.
The Beaumont is manufactured using the Deceuninck 2800 uPVC system but is hand crafted using traditional jointing methods to create the aesthetics of timber. Betterview primarily sell to homeowners living in affluent areas and according to managing director Barry Noad the Beaumont has gone down a storm with many of his discerning customers.
“The Beaumont offers the best of both worlds – the aesthetics of timber and the price of uPVC – and has proved incredibly popular with Betterview customers. The Beaumont is on display at our showroom and visitors are often stunned to learn the window is made from uPVC – they simply can’t believe it’s not timber! We have sold a number of these windows and plan to advertise them heavily in our local press and online.”
Peter Dyer, managing director of Dempsey Dyer is delighted to see Betterview enjoy such success with the Beaumont. “Many consumers prefer the look of timber windows over uPVC, often because they don’t like the welded joints, but at the same time don’t want to spend the extra premium. The Beaumont is manufactured using the Deceuninck 2800 uPVC system but with mechanically jointed transoms, mullions, outer frame and sash to produce an incredibly realistic timber like effect, perfectly catering to this market. It’s great to see Betterview winning sales thanks to the Beaumont.”
