elumatec innovation wows show-goers at BAU

World-leading machinery manufacturer elumatec is celebrating a rush of new enquiries and boosted brand awareness following a hugely successful appearance at the BAU show in Munich, Germany.
A construction industry institution for over 50 years, BAU has become the world’s leading trade fair for the building and architecture sectors, routinely attracting thousands of attendees from around the globe. 2017 was no exception, drawing 250,000 visitors, 80,000 of them from outside Germany, and 2,120 exhibitors from 45 countries.
elumatec wowed show-goers with its latest offering, the SBZ122/75 – the most innovative and advanced of the company’s CNC machining centres, boasting a versatile 5-axis design, inclined beds for easier access and waste disposal, and a protective hood that shields operators from flying debris and saves space by allowing them to work right up close to the machine even while it’s in operation.
“We had a fantastic time at BAU – even better than we’d expected,” commented Phil Heavey, elumatec UK managing director. “BAU is always a great event, but this year we were blown away by the level of interest and enthusiasm we experienced. We were inundated with visitors from around the world, enjoying the hospitality and examining our offerings in detail.”
