Insight Data, the leading supplier of marketing data and CRM software, has announced further investment in its software division, including the expansion of its in-house development team.
Alec Hancock has now been appointed as lead developer, working on a number of innovative new software applications to help clients drive sales and marketing.
Alec has a 1st class honours degree in web technologies and design and won ‘Best Project of the Year’ at the University of the West of England (UWE).
Sean Payne, head of technology at Insight Data commented; “Salestracker now has over 700 users with more clients realising the benefits of the system every week. We’ve been working on several exciting software projects all designed to help busy sales and marketing people generate more leads, convert more customers and build stronger customer relations.”
Insight Data launched the world’s first ‘live CRM’ system, Salestracker, back in 2008, enabling companies to access real-time prospect data and in-depth information on fabricators, installers, building companies and architects. Since then Salestracker has evolved into a major sales and marketing platform with all-new versions launched every two or three years to keep ahead of technology and marketing changes.
The company launched a world-class smartphone version of Salestracker last year, which allows busy sales and marketing people to access the Insight database on their mobile phone in real-time. It even provides financial information, Google maps integration and incorporates a game-changing feature that instantly lists potential customers and sales leads within close proximity to the current location.
