After a successful 2017, the high-profile accolades continue for universal window and door restrictor specialists Jackloc®. The Leicestershire-firm well-known for safeguarding lives across the world has been named a finalist in the coveted Tomorrow’s Health & Safety Awards 2018.

Jackloc’s pioneering MK2 key-lockable restrictor has been nominated by the readers of Tomorrow’s Health & Safety as one of the Top 50 products or services from over the last 12 months. Readers will make their decision when voting opens in January before the top three products or services of the year are revealed.

“What a way to complete 2017 and kick off the New Year! We are absolutely delighted to be a finalist for this fantastic award,” comments Emma Wells, Jackloc’s Founder and Director. “Safety underpins absolutely everything we do at Jackloc, as we continue our mission to dramatically reduce the risk of falls from windows not just in the UK but across the world. Improving safety is our overriding passion and it’s great to see that recognised by a publication dedicated to health and safety.”

The nomination follows a momentous 12 months for Jackloc where their key-lockable restrictor has not only won two Loved By Parents Awards but was also honoured with The Queen’s Award for Enterprise in Innovation 2017, the most prestigious award in UK business. The firm itself were also finalists for ‘Component Supplier of the Year’ at the G17 Awards.

The incredible recognition recognised Jackloc’s massive growth in the UK but also across North America, Asia and the Middle East. Their key-lockable restrictor heads up a full range of restrictors including folding, swivel/stud and push and turn models which have set the benchmark for window safety for both commercial and residential applications.

“It’s undoubtedly been an incredible 12 months for Jackloc which has been rounded off perfectly with this latest high-profile award nomination,” adds Judith Burrows, fellow Jackloc Director and sister to Emma. “Winning this award will be a fantastic way to start our 2018 as we celebrate 15-years of transforming window safety. We have helped everyone from homeowners right through to major hotel groups, office developers and healthcare organisations reduce the risk of injuries or fatalities caused by falls from windows. With some exciting new developments planned, we are predicting an even bigger year.”
