Leads2Trade's EPC service a hit with installers

Leads2Trade, the company behind the Trusted Local Suppliers Network, is delighted to report that its recently launched Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) service has been a mojor hit with solar installers throughout the UK.
In response to the requirement that from April 1st 2012 all buildings installing solar panels will have to produce an EPC level D to become eligible for the higher feed-in tariff (FiT) rate, Leads2Trade partnered with EPC House to provide a 'No D no fee' assessment service throughout the UK.
With many glass and glazing professionals also installing Solar, Leads2Trade's Andy Royle claims that enquiries have been flooding in: "To ensure our network members can equip homeowners with the required level of certificate to achieve the higher rates, we launched this EPC assessment service.
"The Green Deal is on the horizon, equipment costs are falling and the return on investment is more than worthwhile, ensuring solar PV remains an attractive investment. The EPC service is an important a part of communicating the benefits of solar to a vast number of homeowners."
Andy explains how the service works: "The official agreement with EPC House means we can provide EPC assessments which will reach a level 'D' with complimentary free measures including cavity wall and loft insulation. If the house doesn't attain a 'D' rating there is absolutely no cost for the solar installer."
Furthermore, recognising the importance of a quick turnaround for installers, Leads2Trade will also ensure that the EPC is completed within seven days and all associated measures within fourteen days, allowing for maximum installation time.
