Listers are breaking all records in 2012

While the latest statistics for Manufacturing and Construction in the UK seem to be mixed at best, Lister Trade Frames have been seeing some remarkable growth this year, breaking records across their business.
The headlines may read that the British economy is now out of recession, but the Office for National Statistics tell us construction output fell by 2.5 per cent in Quarter 3, and manufacturing output dropped by 1.1 per cent in August. So trying to grow a business in this climate remains particularly difficult for all of us.
Phil Warren, Listers Sales Director, said that he is especially pleased with this year’s results as they have been working hard to grow the business and expand into new areas; “We have seen all time record sales months in January, August and September. October has continued the trend giving us our biggest ever sales month topping over a million pounds for the first time in our history.”
The story of success continues in one of their newest areas of manufacturing; Aluminium windows and doors. July this year gave them a massive 100% sales increase while August smashed that record producing a 400% increase in sales over the same month in 2011. “Aluminium production has been a runaway success for us this year,” says Phil, “we have exceeded all expectations and are currently running at an 81% increase in business compared to last year.”
One of the reasons that Listers give for their success is their relentless efforts to improve their customer’s experience, giving them better products, a bigger range to sell and supporting them with extra sales training and marketing materials to ensure that they can grow their own businesses.
“We have gained 56 new customers this year and they alone have spent over £400,000 with us,” Said Phil “They joined us as customers because they needed the extra support and opportunities that Listers provide for the Trade Installer. And when they are successful... we are successful too.”
Listers is currently running well ahead of any growth in the economy with an average 5.6% increase in total sales across the business for the current year. Phil says that these are really encouraging results and that he and his team are looking forward to breaking even more records in 2013.
