A fast-growing home improvement company has published its annual accounts, which show a record year of trading.
Newview Windows & Conservatories is a family run firm that over the last ten years has become one of the largest glazing and home improvement companies in the South East.
Based in Worthing, West Sussex, in its most recent accounts covering the year to June 2016, turnover rose to £4.2 million – a 32 per cent increase on the year before; resulting in a record year of trading for Newview.
In the last year Newview has also seen staff numbers rise to 45 and a milestone of 120,000 windows have been fitted.
A family run firm with twelve years provenance, the business is owned by female entrepreneur Michele Wietscher and her business partner Duncan Wiestcher.
The couple have successfully navigated the business through the economic downturn; winning lucrative and long-term contracts with names such as Heathrow and Network Rail, as well as building a loyal following of trade installers.
Michele comments: “Through hard work, investment and building long-term sustainable relationships, we have managed to achieve these sound results. But for the whole team here it is only the beginning, as we look to continue to drive growth and scale the business.
“Our success is good news as we provide a barometer for the regional and national economy. Demand from homeowners and installers for the products and service we offer is ever increasing – demonstrating confidence and a level of stability in the economy.”
Later this year Newview is set to open its new trade counter – where it will supply installers across the South East and UK with high-quality windows, doors and associated products.
Michele comments: “The new trade counter will be even bigger and better and allow installers to buy-in market leading products at a fast-turnaround. For us it’s about building long-term relationships and adapting to our customer’s requirements.”
Newview is renowned for its expertise in soundproofed windows and is one of the UK’s leading installers of high-performance, noise reducing windows – a knowledge base that has seen it become a partner of Heathrow Airport, where is has been installing windows in a 30 mile radius of the airport since 2011.
