A business that supplies innovative hoarding solutions for major infrastructure and construction projects has appointed a new Director.
Leigh Matthews has been promoted to the role of Director at Plasloc, whose products are currently taking the industry by storm.
Leigh has more than 15 years’ experience in the construction industry, having headed up a number of projects exceeding £5m before joining Plasloc, and he will be driving the company forward alongside Finance Director Andy Murray.
And with the company having recently posted record trading figures with revenue up 30% thanks to a flurry of new contract wins and growth amongst its existing client base, it is an exciting time to be part of Plasloc.
Leigh Matthews comments: “I am absolutely delighted to have been promoted to the role of Director at Plasloc and I am hugely excited about driving the business forward in the future.
“Working with such a unique product truly sets us apart and the industry has really embraced what we do.
“We have managed to attract some huge clients, including the likes of Amazon, Morrisons, Dyson and the BBC, who have all been absolutely blown away by our hoardings.
“In the last 12 months we have also worked on so many complex projects, which we are extremely proud of. I am looking forward to helping the company have another successful 12 months.”
The company was founded in 2007 by Managing Director Steve Matthews. Following a career in construction, Steve identified a gap in the market for a cost-effective, sustainable, and innovative hoardings solution and the company has gained a well-deserved reputation for producing an incredibly versatile product that is suitable for any environment, both internal or external.
Designed for quick installation and easy removal, the environmentally friendly hoardings appear clean and light and can be customised with corporate colours or printed graphics.
Plasloc’s customer list boasts a whole host of the leading retail, business and construction brands and in the last year it has delivered complex projects for Channel 4, St Thomas’s hospital; and supplied safe hoarding solutions at the University of Cambridge as part of a £1bn development.
At the time of writing Plasloc has been an essential component in more than 5660 different projects and has also established a network of more than three hundred different clients.
