PST unveils enhanced AR app to bridge the gap with the end user

Leading software company PST has launched a new version of its unique augmented reality app, helping to bridge the gap between installers and homeowners and providing them with a unique tool that will give them the edge over their competitors.
vsHome AR is an innovative app that allows installers to share product designs directly to their customer’s phone or tablet to visualise what their new conservatory, orangery or extension will look like as a life size representation on the side of their home or presented on a tabletop. By locking the model down and holding their device, the customer can walk around their new home improvement product and explore it from the inside for a truly immersive experience.
The app works as a companion to vsHome, PST’s unique sales platform where installers can design, visualise and price a wide range of home improvement products and bring these visualisations to life using an integrated 3D editor.
vsHome AR has now been updated to include several pre-downloaded models handpicked by PST, as well as access to even more AR models via a link to PST’s new AR models webpage. With such a wide selection to choose from, the homeowner can be assured to find something similar to what they’re looking for – and the installer is then the strongest contender for that sale.
While the app has always allowed installers to share their own models directly from vsHome, it now
comes with a built in QR scanner – all the homeowner needs to do is open the app and scan the QR code they receive in an email from their installer. With the new update, homeowners will be able to preview and interact with their model before choosing from the classic viewing modes – Real Scale, Tabletop and VR.
