Roof Maker to raise thousands for Rainbows children’s hospice

Rooflight experts Roof Maker have begun supporting Rainbows, Leicester’s hospice for children and young people.
Founded in 1994, Rainbows is the East Midlands’ only young person’s hospice, providing care to life-limited children and their families. Its team of dedicated doctors, nurses and other support staff work to relieve symptoms, improve quality of life, and support parents and siblings through bereavements.
A percentage of the profit made from every Roof Maker product sold will now be donated to Rainbows. Roof Maker staff will also continue to support the organisation in other ways, by running fundraising activities like a recent sponsored ‘wear your pyjamas to work’ day.
Company CEO Paul Mildenstein commented: “At Roof Maker, we’ve always been a proud local business, providing quality manufacturing jobs to the people of Leicester and best-in-class roof window products to homeowners throughout the region – but we’ve also constantly striven to give something back to the community in other ways.
“We’d struggle to find a more deserving cause than Rainbows. They bring comfort to children and families going through some of the most difficult circumstances imaginable, and it’s an honour to be able to support their amazing work.”
